There is no place I've been like the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary! Founded by Jenny Brown and Doug Abel, two very incredible and caring people, the sanctuary is a place where rescued and abandoned farm animals have found a home where they can live out their lives in peace. Dylan, a battered calf just a few years ago, is now probably weighing it at well over a ton. The pigs, whose lives would have been cut short on a factory farm weigh something like 900lbs, yes, they are massive. The sheep and goats are endearing and playful. And the turkeys are my favorite of all. They roam around like they own the place, you can call them and they'll come over to get some petting action. No, I have never met a nicer crew of turkeys.
